Pamela beaird biography

Peter P., a devoted Leave it to Beaver fan, wanted to know what happened to some secondary characters on the show, namely Pamela Barird, who played  Mary Ellen Rogers, Cheryl Holdridge, who played Julie Foster, and Karen Sue Trent, who played Penny Woods.

Pamela Baird portrayed Mary Ellen Rogers, who dated Beaver's older brother Wally (Tony Dow).  Pamela was born Pamela Kay Beaird on April 6, in Bexar, County, Texas.

.  She attended Covina High School in Covina, California and graduated from Westminster Choir School in Princeton, New Jersey in

Prior to Leave it to Beaver, Pamela had a recurring role in the Western adventure series My Friend Flicka.  She played Hildy Broeberg in 14 episodes of the show.  She also had a recurring role as Nancy, Kelly Gregg's (Noreen Corcoran) best friend in four episodes of Bachelor Father, starring John Forsythe.
