Caroline Alexander is an acclaimed author, classicist and filmmaker.

She is the author of the best-selling Skies of Thunder, The Endurance, The Bounty, and other works of literary non-fiction. In 2015, she published an acclaimed translation of Homer's Iliad, (the first English translation of an Homeric poem by a women).^[1]
