Linzi Glass is a critically acclaimed novelist and animal rescuer. Her third book, Finding Danny, will be published by Walden Pond Press/Harper Collins Children's Books on May 11th, 2010. It combines her two passions, writing and rescuing, and is about a girl who looses her dog and discovers the world of animal shelters and the plight of abandoned animals.

Glass has been in the trenches of animal rescue for seven years and has personally rescued hundreds of dogs. She is the Executive Director and Co-founder of The Forgotten Dog Foundation, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing dogs in need.
