The Vampire Diaries Universe is an American media franchise and a shared universe that is centered on various interconnected television series airing on The CW.

The series were developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, and based on characters who appeared in the original novel series, The Vampire Diaries, by L. J. Smith.
